Badge is a Managing Director at HeelHorn Partners, a private investment firm composed of entrepreneurs, experienced executives, business owners, and investors seeking to acquire and operate a service-based business with revenues between $10 and $30 million.

Prior to founding HeelHorn Partners, Badge Stone worked for VF Imagewear, a Nashville, Tennessee based division of apparel company VF Corporation (NYSE: VFC). While at VF Imagewear, Badge focused on operations, mergers and acquisitions, and internal growth projects. 

Prior to VF, Badge was selected by the founding members of McColl Partners, a middle-market mergers and acquisitions investment bank, to play an integral role in the foundation and development of the Charlotte, North Carolina based firm. At McColl Partners, Badge participated in sell-side assignments, private capital raises, and leveraged buyouts. Before McColl Partners, Badge was a financial analyst in First Union Securities' mergers and acquisitions department (formerly Bowles Hollowell Conner).

Badge received his MBA from Harvard Business School (with Second Year Honors) and his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Business Administration (with Distinction), where he was a Morehead Scholar.
