Photos from "Entrepreneurship in Turbulent Economic Times"

May 12, 2009 6:30PM - Paul Wetenhall, President of the Ben Craig Center, and Ross Annable, former interim President of the Ben Craig Center (and HBS alumnus) provided a fascinating discussion on "Entrepreneurship in Turbulent Economic Times."

We had a great meeting to close out our 2008-2009 season. Paul Wetenhall spoke on the factors that support and drive entrepreneurship in Charlotte, including Knowledge Creations, Technology Transfer, Clusters and Networks, and Commercialization.

Then Ross Annable provided an insightful view of the sources of capital available to our local entrepreneurs in the various stages of a company's growth, and how it has changed in the recent economic climate. This was followed by a Connections networking event.
