In October, Juergen Seybold will be the incoming President of the HBS Club of Charlotte. Juergen has been an active member of the club for many years, and is excited about taking on this new role.
Juergen currently serves as President of Lutze, Inc., a subsidiary of a German electronics company headquartered near Stuttgart. This company produces electric and electronic equipment for the industrial process and automation industry. Lutze, Inc. provides sales, service, warehousing and a small portion of manufacturing in the North America market.
Previous positions held by Juergen include: President, DMG-Charlotte; a subsidiary of German DMG, the second largest machine tool builder in the world; and, Vice President Sales & Service, Heller Machine Tools, an international production solution provider to the automotive industry.
Juergen received his education in Germany in electrical/electronic engineering as well as mechanical engineering. He is a graduate of the executive education program PMD70 at Harvard Business School.
Juergen is active in the community and in his industry.
He currently serves on the advisory board of the Integrated System Technology Program at CPCC.
He is an active member of Vistage, the world’s largest CEO membership organization.
Juergen has recently been elected President of the German Business Round Table.
Also, he is a member of the Board of South End Jazz, a non-profit organization to promote international education between the U.S. and Germany.
